Regulations for people with disabilities to obtain driving licences
people with disabilities can acquire a type F license issued by the National Transit Agency (ANT).
Vehicle type and adaptation to controls
users with disabilities can drive with their type F license conventional taxis, executives, light or mixed trucks up to 3500 kg (Seventh General Provision of the Organic Law on Disabilities).
Application to foreign driving licence holders
Does not apply.

PART 2 - PARKING CARDS
Eligibility for disability parking cards
“The parking sticker for people with disabilities applies per vehicle:
1. Vehicles of natural persons with disabilities (vehicle in the name of the person with disabilities). Disabled person refers to any person identified by the national health authority with a disability equivalent to 30%.
2. Vehicles owned by natural third parties (for the use and transfer of people with disabilities)
3. Vehicles of non-profit legal entities (transport vehicles on behalf of non-profit legal entities, dedicated to the care and attention of people with disabilities)
4. Vehicles of legal entities for profit (transport vehicles on behalf of legal entities for profit, which provide transportation services contracted by legal entities dedicated to the care and attention of people with disabilities)”
Reserved parking space availability
Parking spaces must be located immediately at the entrances of buildings or elevators. parking lots for public and private use will have exclusive spaces for vehicles that transport or are driven by people with disabilities. This must represent at least 2% of the total regular parking spaces of the building or of the tariff zone.

Disability parking spaces
the minimum dimensions must be the following:
− width (a) = 2400 mm, − length (b)= 5000 mm, − minimum free height (h) = 2200 mm, and − transfer strip (Ft) = 1200 mm.
